As soon as I discovered this company and company owner I felt compelled to try the product. I bake quite a bit for my household and loved ones outside of my immediate circle. I have signature sweet baked goods but I have struggled and realized that I began to cut back on my output. It came back down to the guilt I felt when using the amount of sugar in my recipes. They taste amazing but my accountability and responsibility was off. Discovering Sum Sweet empowered me to bake again. I actually tested a side by side with my original ingredients and the Sum Sweet Brown and Granulated substitute. I thought the cookies would differ in height, width, and texture as the substitute might have acted differently when baked. I am pleased to report the differences: 1. The cookies were deeper in color, the substitute dissolved during the mixing process leaving no sugar crystal granulation. 2. The cookies were the texture of a soft bake, or a brownie, firm yet soft. 3. The level of sweetness was not as sharp. I find myself grabbing from the sugar free batch for myself. After gifting both the original and the new sugar free dough to seven individual (inside and outside my household) the consensus is… They are delicious!!! No-one had anything to say other than they enjoyed the cookies and couldn’t help but eat all in almost one sitting. If you are considering weather to move forward on your purchase, I say, relieve yourself from the guilt. Make the purchase. Do not look back … You, and your family deserve it.
