Instructions
Caramel Sauce
Prepare a sheet tray by covering it with waxed or parchment paper.
Combine sumsweet+ granular, salt and cream in a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-high heat.
Stir with a spoon until sumsweet+ is dissolved, then continue to stir to keep from scorching.
Watch for color to start to change. As soon as it turns a caramel brown,
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter. Continue to stir until mixture thickens.
Stir in all pecans, and drop by teaspoonfuls on prepared sheet tray.
Allow to cool completely at room temperature before removing from parchment paper.
Toast Pecans
Place pecan flat on baking tray lined with parchment bake at 250 for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
