Caramel Pecan Clusters

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup sumsweet+ Granular
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cups pecans halves lightly toasted
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

Caramel Sauce

  • Prepare a sheet tray by covering it with waxed or parchment paper.
  • Combine sumsweet+ granular, salt and cream in a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Stir with a spoon until sumsweet+ is dissolved, then continue to stir to keep from scorching.
  • Watch for color to start to change. As soon as it turns a caramel brown,
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter. Continue to stir until mixture thickens.
  • Stir in all pecans, and drop by teaspoonfuls on prepared sheet tray.
  • Allow to cool completely at room temperature before removing from parchment paper.

Toast Pecans

  • Place pecan flat on baking tray lined with parchment bake at 250 for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
