Sweetened Condensed Milk

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup Sumsweet Granular
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine sumsweet+ granular and cream in a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Stir until sumsweet+ granular is dissolved, and continue to stir to prevent scorching.
  • Boil until the mixture just starts to change colors.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour into a heat safe jar. Leave the top off until milk is cooled.
  • Store in refrigerator.
